Introduction

The Commission on Arbitration & ADR is ICC's rule-making body and unique think tank in the field of international dispute resolution. The Commission drafts and revises the various ICC rules for dispute resolution, including the ICC Rules of Arbitration, the ICC ADR Rules, the ICC Dispute Board Rules, and the ICC Rules for Expertise. At the national level, the ICC-UAE Commission on Arbitration & ADR has been playing a crucial role over the years in developing the arbitration in the UAE.

During the meeting, the report of ICC – UAE Commission on Arbitration & ADR will be presented and its tentative Action Plan for the year 2017 will be discussed. The members will also elect the new Steering Committee.
