Introduction
The ICC Commission on Customs & Trade Facilitation's mandate is to promote simplified customs policies and procedures as well as other measures to facilitate international trade. Through its representative body in the UAE, the ICC – UAE Commission on Customs and Trade Facilitation contributes to the drafting and revision of the various rules including the transfer pricing and customs value, the making transport greener and smarter, the Incoterms® 2010 rules, the supply chain connectivity and the digitalization of transport infrastructure, cross border linkages, and customs procedures.
During the meeting, the report of ICC – UAE Commission on Customs & Trade Facilitation will be presented and its tentative Action Plan for the year 2017 will be discussed. The members will also elect the new Steering Committee.
