The International Chamber of Commerce – United Arab Emirates (ICC UAE) was established in 2004 under the Federation of UAE Chambers of Commerce and Industry with the support of local chambers to foster a healthy and competitive economic environment and to give the UAE businesses the opportunity to be a part of the global ecosystem.
In the last 15 years of its existence, the ICC UAE which represents the commercial, industrial and business enterprises in the country at a global level along with the Paris-based International Secretariat of ICC, promoted the scope and reach of the UAE business community around the world.
The year 2019 was another successful and busy year in the history of ICC UAE. We have set up a ground which will serve our members and the business community for long. ICC celebrating the 100-year anniversary and ICC UAE continued to play its role to fulfill the mission statement of the ICC "We make business work for everyone, every day, everywhere" by promoting peace and prosperity and bringing
down barriers to do business globally.
Besides serving its local members with the wide range of ICC products and services, ICC UAE also hosts international events and business meetings for exchange of experiences and knowledge. It regularly organizes briefing sessions, training workshops and seminars on banking, arbitration, customs and trade facilitation for business owners, managers and representatives from the export, logistics, legal and arbitration sectors.
With our mission and vision to let UAE businesses to voice their interests worldwide and to promote the market economy system based on the principles of free and fair competition among business enterprises, ICC UAE introduces the policies advocated by the ICC to the UAE government and its agencies as well as their benefits for the local members to have the opportunities to be part of the of the world economic practice, an essential element for the success of global trade.
Today, the parent body's global network of members has grown to over 45 million from 100 different countries and nationalities, offering its members the opportunity to communicate with more than 12,000 chambers of commerce and industry globally.
