Sucden Middle East, the Dubai based branch of Sucden (Groupe Sucres et Denrees), was established in 2004.

It is Sucden group’s world market white sugar trading platform.

Sucden Middle East centralizes the world market oriented white sugar trading strategy and activity in coordination with a network at destination and our network of origination desks in main exporting geographies. SME trades an average of 2,5 Million tons of sugar yearly across more than 70 countries.

In November 2021, Sucden Middle East added bagged Rice to its portfolio of products.

Yassine Arbel


Finance professional with over 10 years of experience, Yassine Arbel graduated in 2012 with a Master of Science in Finance from EDHEC Business School (France). His career started with KPMG Luxembourg where he worked for 3 years as a Senior Auditor specialized in Banks. Yassine moved to Dubai in 2015 to work in trade finance first for Orascom Fertilizers Trading and presently with Sucden Middle East, two major commodity trade houses.



Beatrice Yemga


With more than 14 years’ experience in handling contracts, logistics, and supply chain, Beatrice Yemga is a results-oriented expert in this field. She holds proven distinction in developing strategies and resolving problems concerning transportation, logistics systems, imports, exports, risks, payments, and customer issues. She has managed all activities of the supply chain function including planning and sourcing to transport, shipping and customs clearance.



Dejana Mitrovic


Experienced Freight and Operations leader with over 15 years of international experience in the shipping, logistics and commodities trading environment. Dejana began her career in Australia after graduating from the University of Queensland with dual Bachelors in International business and Arts. She has since worked with several trading houses and industry leaders such as Maersk, Cargill, Bunge and Wilmar. With these companies she was based out of Brisbane, Amsterdam and Geneva while managing activities and teams in several other locations. She was responsible for setting up the freight desk, contract desk and leading the trade execution and risk management activities. Dejana is currently in Dubai where she is the Head of Operations for White Sugar for Sucden Middle East.
