Career Summary

Mr. Ihab is an experienced and dedicated Trade Finance Specialist with a demonstrated history of working in the banking sector. He's experienced in Import / Export Letters of Credit, trade finance operations, commercial banking, customer service as well as data analysis and reporting. Strong finance professional with a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration from Alexandria University.

Working Knowledge of Trade Finance and Commercial Banking operations related tasks (i.e., Handling day to day Operations of LC, Bills, Import/ Export documents, SWIFT functions, Customers Service Support etc.) with globally renowned bank “Dubai Islamic Bank” has allowed me to further develop and strengthen my Technical and Managerial Skills.


Experience

Mr. Ihab started his professional career in the beginning of 2009 as a Seafreight Coordinator in ‘Unifreight Global Logistics’ which is a freight forwarder and logistics company in Alexandria, Egypt

Then by the end of the same year he moved to the banking sector with ‘Arab African International Bank’ working in the Trade Finance Department in which he developed his knowledge and expertise in the field of Trade Finance and become highly skilled in all aspects of trade services.

Seven years later in 2016, he moved to Dubai, UAE to work with Dubai Islamic Bank in their Import section within the trade finance department where he improved his managerial skills by taking the position of Team Leader in the LC Issuance. He managed the UAT of the new Trade system and the migration process from the previous Trade system, Involved in the revision of Import LCs Policy and Procedures as well as the revision of the bank trade tariff. Meanwhile, he’s responsible for training and development plan of trade service personnel and newly hired staff.
