Samer Mohammad Awad

Samer Awad was Born in Jordan on 29th June 1981. Hold Bachelors of Commerce with major in Accounting from Al Yarmouk University, Irbid, Jordan. Also professionally qualified as CDCS certification from LIBF “The London Institute of Banking & Finance" CDCS, London, England.

Mr. Samer initiated his professional career in Amman, Jordan as an officer in the year 2006 in Arab Bank PLC – Trade Finance. By the time he developed his knowledge and expertise in the field of trade finance and became highly skilled in all aspects of trade services.

Mr. Samer then moved in the year 2008 to Dubai, UAE as a senior officer working with Arab Company for Shared Services ACSS - Trade Finance Unit for Arab Bank PLC GCC. He gained more knowledge about trade finance in the GCC region.

Mr. Samer, in the year 2013 started a new career with Dubai Islamic Bank PJSC - Trade Finance, for which he is working as an Assistant Manager in the Trade Finance Dept. where he also has improved his managerial skills. Mr. Samer developed a customer pack for the Dubai Islamic Bank Trade Finance website that explains trade products in details.

Mr. Samer was a supporting factor in the emigration process between Dubai Islamic Bank and Noor Bank PJSC in 2020 for taking over, controlling, and scheduling all outstanding contracts for migration under Dubai Islamic Bank's database.

Mr. Samer taught junior personnel about Trade Finance and related transactions. Informal on-the-job and theoretical training.

Mr. Samer maintains a wide range of technical skills like China System Exim bills, Business Development, Flex Cube Core Banking System, Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Trade Wind – Trade Finance System, Swift Alliance, FTS Nest Edge " Central Bank System", TI Plus, Trade Finance Operations, Letter Of Credit, Import / Export, Document Negotiation, Customer Service, Communication skills, Market research, Time Management, Project/Program Management, Data Manipulation/Analyses and Process Improvement.
