Profile

I am an attorney at law by profession; I have been working with Omnix Group Inc. FZ LLC for 25 years as a Senior Vice-President. I am also a Part time lecturer in the University of Jordan, Faculty of Law, the Institute of Advanced Legal Studies, Dubai U.A.E. and the University of Sharjah, Faculty of Law, Sharjah, U.A.E. I worked with University of Ottawa, Faculty of Law, Ottawa, Canada as a Teaching and Research Assistant. My earlier career experiences were at Ministry of Justice, United Arab Emirates as a Court Registrar for the U.A.E. Supreme Court in Abu Dhabi for 14 years.

I obtained an LL.D. (Doctor of Laws) degree from Ottawa University Ottawa, Canada in 1990; Master of Laws with distinction from Tulane University New Orleans, Louisiana, U.S.A. in 1983; Master Degree with Honors Graduating First in the Class from Cairo University Cairo, Egypt In 1981; L’Cence in Droit from Beirut Arab University, Beirut Lebanon with merit of good in 1977.

I have written an article titled “Practical Considerations in International Arbitration” was published in Arabic Al Khaleej Newspaper.

Further, I have attended many international commercial arbitration seminars and conferences inside and outside the United Arab Emirates.

In addition, I have acted as Chairman, Sole Arbitrator, and Party-appointed Arbitrator in a wide number of arbitration cases in both Arabic and English.
